Soprano superstar Renée Fleming returns to Aspen where she had formative experiences as a young opera student and sang her first Countess Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro. She performs with the Aspen Festival Orchestra, led by AMFS Music Director Robert Spano. The program includes Rachmaninoff’s masterful final orchestral work, the fiery and pulsating Symphonic Dances, as part of the Festival’s "White Nights" exploration of composers from above the Arctic Circle.
